NEW WORKS FEATURED at UGALLERY

Never Looking Back, Acrylic on stretched canvas, 24 x 24 inches. Recently sold through UGallery.

Several of my abstract figurative works are on display at UGALLERY.com. Visit UGALLERY.com to view available works and to see what has recently sold. A huge thank you to, UGALLERY, a gallery whose home base is in San Francisco, for continually introducing my work to new clients. The work to the right (sold) is titled, Never Looking Back. It’s acrylic on canvas, and 24 x 24 inches in size. Never Looking Back is filled with bold colorful brushstrokes dancing delightfully across a dark background. Two figures emerge heading forward overcoming life's obstacles. The centralized figure is more prominent as it places one foot forward, symbolic of resilience, looking toward the future and never looking back.

Featured in the Magazine- Raised Southern

Well, I must say I would have never expected to be featured in a magazine that I could actually find on the shelves at Barns and Nobles, but yeah…that happened. A whopping four page spread graced the gorgeous pages of this beautiful and engaging magazine created by chef photographer, choreographer, writer and designer, Jamie Parrish who also happens to be based in Atlanta Georgia. The magazine is called Raised Southern and highlights all things that make-up the amazing SOUTH! Great articles about southern musicians, cuisine, artists, and so much more. To get a copy of this magazine and read all about my life, my inspiration, works and more….OH…and read about so many other southern creatives and other inspirational people go to raisedsouthernmag.com

THANK YOU Jamie Parrish and Raised Southern for an amazing article on my life, my upbringing and my influences leading to my journey as a practicing fine artist. If anyone missed getting a copy on the shelves of Barnes and Nobles, don’t worry you can order one. Soon, there will be a new raised southern magazine on the shelves. I cannot wait to get that copy too. raisedsouthernmag.com

SCAD-SAVANNAH COLLEGE OF ART & DESIGN

The month of May was a wonderful month. My works were up on display on the big screens out on the front of the SCAD building in downtown Atlanta on Peachtree. It was thrilling seeing them displayed for all to see riding down Peachtree. A huge thank you to Paula Wallace, the President of SCAD for choosing my work to display on the screens. SCAD also recently purchased two of my works for their permeant collection. Exciting!
