Resting Bitch Face Series

The Resting Bitch Face Series evolved as a reaction to the expectations of women as well as a reaction to loss, transition, pandemic constraints and the effects of time. The women in each work is either an old or current icon of Hollywood, or a political or figure of royalty. This series consists of thirty-five, 12 x 12 works on panel and was first revealed to the public during the solo exhibition titled, “Facing Forward,” held at the Quinlan Visual Arts Center in the Jonathan Mansfield Gallery, August 12- October 2nd, 2021.
